BUSINESS ACQUISITIONS
From "Should I buy this?" to "Now I own it."
Buying the business is only the beginning.
There's the business you're considering buying. There's the deal you're considering making. And then there's the business you'll actually have to run once the keys are yours. We help connect those pieces, so you're not evaluating the purchase in one silo, figuring out the financial transition in another, and starting from scratch with a new accounting team after closing. One financial team. Before, during + after the deal.
The whole climb. Before, during & after the deal.

Understand what you're buying. We dig into the financial story behind the business: historical performance, profitability, cash flow, margins, working capital, debt, and the areas that deserve a closer look. Need to understand what the business is actually worth? Our Business Valuation Services can provide another important piece of the acquisition picture.
Financial Due Dilligence & Business Valuation

Buying it is one thing. Making the deal work financially is another. We help you model what ownership could actually look like from acquisition financing and debt service to working capital, owner compensation, cash flow, and different what-if scenarios. Because the question isn't only whether you can buy the business. It's what the numbers look like once you do.
Acquisition Planning & Financial Modeling

Take over without the financial scramble. The deal closed. Now what? We help bring the financial pieces from old ownership to new from accounting systems to the chart of accounts, opening balances, banking workflows, payroll, reporting, and the processes you'll rely on going forward.
Post Acquisition Accounting

Closing day is really day one. Once you're in the business, we can continue alongside you through our Fractional CFO Services. Think cash flow, forecasting, scenario planning, profitability, KPIs, debt and capital decisions, financial risk, and the strategy behind what's next.
CFO & Ongoing Strategy

More than a deal review: valuation, accounting + strategy at the same table.
There’s a lot more to buying a business than deciding what it’s worth. You need to understand where the numbers have been, make sure you know what you’re actually buying, get the accounting set up right when you take over, and have a plan for where you want to go next. Our team can help you through all of it.
It takes a team...
Your broker moves the deal forward. Your attorney protects you legally. Your lender focuses on financing.
Elevated brings financial due diligence, valuation, and forward-looking strategy to the table—so you understand not just how to buy the business, but what owning it could actually look like.
Because getting to closing isn’t the same as making a good investment.
Navigate the Deal
with your broker
We work alongside your broker as the deal takes shape—digging into the financials, asking the questions the numbers raise, and helping you understand how the terms being discussed affect what you’re actually buying.
Structure Strategically
with your attorney
We bring the financial perspective to the legal structure—working with your attorney to understand how the terms being negotiated could impact cash flow, risk, and the business you’ll own after closing.
Finance It Wisely
with your lender and tax professional
We help provide the financials, forecasts, and analysis needed to pursue the right financing and make informed decisions around deal and tax structure.
See The Big Picture
with Elevated
We keep the numbers at the center of the deal—so the decisions made with your broker, attorney, lender, and tax team all work toward the same goal: buying a business that actually works for you.

We knew the manufacturing business and liked what we saw, but buying a business is a whole different deal. There were a lot of numbers flying around and plenty of things we didn’t know to ask.
Sarah helped us dig into the business valuation and financials and figure out what the business was actually making. Then she started walking us through different scenarios and what each one would mean for us. If we borrowed this much, what would the loan payment do to cash flow? How much cash did we need to leave in the business? Could it handle the debt and still give us enough room to run it?
We wouldn’t have known to model half of that ourselves. Sarah showed us what changed with each scenario and brought up things we never would’ve thought to ask. She wasn’t there to talk us into or out of the deal. She made sure we understood what we were buying and what it could look like once we were the ones running it.
When we decided to move forward, Sarah and her team worked with the bank on the financials and projections for underwriting and alongside our attorney on the structure of the deal. Having her handle that side of things took a lot off our plate and let us focus on the things that really did need to come from us.
After we bought the business, we didn’t have to start over with a new accounting team. Sarah’s team already knew the books and what we were walking into. They helped transition payroll, bookkeeping, accounts payable, and monthly accounting so we could focus on taking over and running the business.
There’s a lot coming at you when you buy a business. Having Sarah and her team in our corner meant we weren’t trying to figure out the financial side by ourselves, and we felt a heck of a lot better about what we were signing up for.
Know what you're stepping into.
Feel good about what comes next.
