Sometimes Growth Outpaces the Systems Behind It.
This church had grown, and a lot was going right. They had engaged leadership, a strong commitment to stewardship, and people who cared deeply about doing things well. But behind the scenes, the financial systems that had worked before were getting harder to manage as the organization grew. Through a stand-alone project, we took a step back with their team and looked at the whole financial picture. We found giving spread across multiple systems, reporting that required too much manual work, unclear spending approvals, and financial information that wasn't always easy for leadership to quickly understand. Then we helped them build a practical way forward—simplifying their accounting and giving systems, creating clearer approval processes, improving leadership reporting, and putting a roadmap in place for stronger financial controls and budgeting as they continued to grow. Because sometimes you don't need to start over.
